Market Analyst - Strategist Office (Finance)

Location: Hybrid, with primary locations in Chicago, Illinois, and Greenwood Village, Colorado; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base salary: $87,400–$123,400 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Research U.S. sectors, industries, companies, macroeconomic trends, and financial markets.
• Analyze valuations, earnings, revenue, cash flow, fundamentals, and market scenarios.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual Economic and Market Outlooks.
• Support separately managed account activities through research, portfolio positioning analysis, and performance insights.
• Produce ad hoc research for media, conferences, and client needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop research-driven content for internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, economics, business, or a related field strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment research, economic research, equity research, market strategy, asset management, or a related field.
• Current CFA designation strongly preferred, or progress toward CFA completion with Level I or Level II passed.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and Microsoft Office.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling data visualizations.
• U.S. work authorization for any employer is required; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. macroeconomic, financial market, sector, or industry research.
• Experience with fundamental analysis, valuation analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience supporting portfolio management or separately managed accounts.
• Experience translating complex economic and market research into content for clients, media, or other external audiences.
