Fixed Income Credit Market Analyst (Financial Markets)

What you will do

• Produce intra-day reports, including Open, Previews, and Viewpoints, covering major public investment-grade bond deals.
• Analyse new deal performance, funding decisions, structures, trends, and market context through focused interviews.
• Gather market intelligence on potential bond issuance, price discovery, relative value, new issue concessions, book evolution, and distribution.
• Maintain and update pipeline issuance tables and contribute to summary reports.
• Work with product managers and colleagues to align coverage with user workflow needs and support product development.
• Provide APAC credit team coverage and participate in client sales and commercial calls when required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience covering fixed income credit markets for a real-time service or industry journal, or direct experience in investment banking or investment management.
• Experience developing and maintaining contacts across fixed income markets.
• Strong editorial, analytical, communication, and interviewing skills.
• Ability to calculate and verify relative value measures and assess the accuracy of market information.
• Technical proficiency with Bloomberg Professional or an equivalent market-data platform.
• Ability to prioritise time-sensitive work and respond flexibly to changing market developments.

Nice to have

• Experience creating charts, tables, and other data visualisations for market reports.
• Interest in differentiating content based on validated client requirements.
