Intern, Mechanical Engineer

What you will do

• Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development.
• Support the factory and existing products.
• Work with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
• Generate and process engineering change orders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Apply structural mechanics principles to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities.
• Familiarity with finite element methods, fatigue, and damage tolerance principles.
• Many positions require security clearance, which may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Nice to have

• Exposure to CAD or analysis tools, including FEA.
• Experience with mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, or mechanisms.
