Mechanical Engineering Intern (CAD/CAE)

Location: On-site in Waukesha, Pewaukee, or plant locations throughout Wisconsin, USA

What you will do

• Design, validate, and support new products, subsystems, and mechanical components from concept through production.
• Create and maintain CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and bills of materials.
• Support product development plans, including schedules, product costs, and design inputs.
• Design, execute, and evaluate testing, product specifications, and process validation plans.
• Evaluate designs for performance, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and safety.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers, product specialists, and internal stakeholders; travel to other hirify.global facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of or working experience with Pro-E and/or AutoCAD.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
• Availability to work full-time on-site, 40 hours per week, from May or June through August 2027.

• Completion of the sophomore year of a degree program.
