Maintenance & Logistics Planner (Biotech Manufacturing)

Location: Hayward, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan and schedule preventive, corrective, calibration, inspection, and facility maintenance activities through the CMMS.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with reliability leadership, technicians, operations, contractors, vendors, and engineering.
• Prepare work plans covering labor, parts, tools, documentation, permits, vendor support, and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, facility tasks, and commissioning of the new pilot plant.
• Coordinate vendors and specialized trades, including scopes, quotes, procurement, scheduling, site access, and follow-up.
• Maintain NetSuite inventory records and support receiving, storage, replenishment, cycle counts, staging, and shipments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical, maintenance, supply chain, or operations-related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, inventory management, logistics, or a related area.
• Experience with a CMMS, ERP, inventory system, or similar operational software.
• Strong organization, documentation, communication, follow-through, and safety skills.
• Ability to work hands-on and cross-functionally in an onsite pilot plant environment.
• Employment is contingent on a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Nice to have

• Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, food, chemical, industrial manufacturing, or pilot plant operations.
• Experience with NetSuite, spare-parts management, cycle counting, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Experience supporting facility startup, commissioning, or transition to operations.
