TL;DR
Master Production Scheduler (Energetics): Owning the integrated master production schedule for energetics programs with an accent on cross-program sequencing, capacity planning, customer delivery commitments, and ERP/MES implementation. Focus on resolving capacity and material tradeoffs, maintaining scheduling parameters, optimizing propellant grain, AP grinding, and assembly operations, and presenting schedule performance and recovery plans to leadership.

Location: Onsite in Pueblo, Colorado, United States. Full-time 9/80 schedule with up to 15% travel within the continental United States.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 per year, base salary only.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain the integrated master production schedule across active and emerging energetics programs.
  • Translate customer contract milestones and delivery requirements into production schedules and represent scheduling in program reviews.
  • Make cross-program priority and sequencing decisions when capacity, materials, or production constraints affect commitments.
  • Lead weekly schedule reviews, monthly capacity planning reviews, and cross-functional resolution of scheduling conflicts.
  • Track on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and customer milestone adherence, providing root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support ERP/MRP and MES implementation, including scheduling configuration, validation, and transition from manual planning to system-driven scheduling.

Requirements

  • At least five years of master scheduling or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment, including ownership of a multi-program or multi-product schedule.
  • Strong knowledge of MPS, CRP, RCCP, scheduling fences, lot sizing, and demand management.
  • Hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems and building schedules manually using spreadsheets when system functionality is limited.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, pass drug screening and state and federal background checks, and be eligible to obtain and maintain explosives licenses.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person or be eligible to obtain required U.S. export authorizations under ITAR and EAR.

Nice to have

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, energetics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with DFARS, FAR, ITAR, AS9100, MES systems, and integrated ERP/MES scheduling.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
