Director, Project Controls, MEP Estimator, Project & Development Services (Construction)

Salary: $165,750–$195,000 per year

What you will do

• Establish cost management programs, tools, technology, processes, and deliverables for large-scale capital programs.
• Lead MEP estimating during preconstruction, contractor negotiations, construction, and project closeout.
• Develop project budgets, benchmarks, cost studies, integrated cost plans, and cost reports.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, estimates, labor productivity analyses, and electrical and mechanical scope studies.
• Lead cost risk analysis, mitigation planning, accruals, forecasts, and quantitative risk assessments.
• Develop earned value management for complex manufacturing programs and support project control and execution plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• 15 or more years of experience in cost management for capital projects covering design and construction phases.
• Electrical and mechanical estimating experience, including interpretation of complex drawings and preparation of quantity take-offs.
• Construction industry experience and experience working in complex, matrixed environments.
• Expertise using Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, reporting, executive presentation, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
