TL;DR
Sales Specialist (Interventional Therapy) (Medical Devices): Driving adoption and growth of interventional therapy solutions across NSW/ACT through customer engagement, territory planning, product trials, and clinical training with an accent on hospital-based sales and technical support during surgical procedures. Focus on developing clinician relationships, managing complex hospital sales cycles, and supporting product implementation across multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Hybrid role based in Norwest, Sydney, New South Wales, supporting customers across NSW/ACT. Applicants must have full working rights in Australia or New Zealand and be able to travel nationally and internationally as required.

What you will do

  • Identify customer needs, generate leads, present product information, and achieve territory sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic territory sales and performance plans for NSW/ACT.
  • Attend clinical cases and provide technical support during surgical procedures.
  • Facilitate product trials and evaluations and deliver in-service product training.
  • Build relationships with clinicians, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and key opinion leaders.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists, Clinical Educators, Marketing, and the Business Development Manager.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a similar portfolio, ideally involving cardiac catheter labs, interventional radiology suites, operating theatres, medical oncology, or day oncology.
  • Experience working with consultants, nurses, and multidisciplinary hospital teams.
  • Demonstrated sales achievements and a strong understanding of complex hospital sales cycles.
  • Customer-focused approach with resilience, strong relationship-building skills, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand, a valid driver’s licence, national and international travel availability, and full COVID-19 vaccination are required.
