What you will do
- Lead technical execution for end-to-end features in a lean, autonomous engineering team.
- Write production-grade code across the full-stack TypeScript ecosystem, including APIs, backend systems, and web experiences.
- Build agentic workflows, state-machine logic, and custom RAG pipelines.
- Develop guardrails, traceability frameworks, and confidence algorithms to measure and validate LLM output reliability.
- Translate ambiguous ideas into working software and make pragmatic trade-offs between delivery speed and long-term code health.
- Establish code review, testing, and responsible AI coding assistant practices.
Requirements
- Expert-level TypeScript proficiency, including advanced generics and discriminated unions.
- Deep Node.js experience; experience with Mastra or custom state-machine-driven backend logic is valued.
- Strong modern web development skills; the primary framework is SvelteKit, with React or Vue experience also considered.
- Practical experience deploying LLM-powered features or agents, with knowledge of token costs, evaluations, and prompt safety.
- Daily experience with engineering assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor, combined with strong debugging and engineering discipline.
- Outstanding English communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in an async-first environment.
