Staff Fullstack Software Engineer, Tapestry (AI)

Location: Mountain View, CA; San Francisco, CA; or New York, NY. Flexible hybrid work model.

US base salary: $207,000–$300,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the architectural vision and technical roadmap for high-performance enterprise web platforms.
• Design frontend systems that visualize massive real-time geospatial and time-series datasets.
• Architect agentic workflows, ML-powered interfaces, and human-in-the-loop decision-support experiences.
• Translate complex power-system AI and algorithmic outputs into streamlined user workflows.
• Optimize critical rendering paths using WebGL or Canvas while handling millions of data points.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, and establish practices for state management, testing, and component-driven development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of frontend or fullstack engineering experience leading technical vision for complex, large-scale platforms.
• Experience building enterprise applications using LLMs, agentic frameworks, or predictive ML models.
• Experience with streaming responses, long-running agentic tasks, non-deterministic interfaces, and feedback loops.
• Mastery of TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Ability to design human-in-the-loop systems that provide clarity, trust, and safety in high-stakes energy planning.
• Experience simplifying highly complex systems into intuitive workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with power systems, GIS, or climate-tech applications.
• Familiarity with Kotlin, Java, Python, or Go and backend service development.
• Experience in high-growth or zero-to-one environments.
