Location: Field-based in the Denver, Boulder, and Aurora territory and throughout Colorado; permanent residence in the listed territory required. Up to 75% travel, including occasional overnight stays.

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 per year

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, coverage, and payer procedures.
  • Provide field-based access support and resolve patient affordability and treatment access issues.
  • Build relationships with oncology accounts and serve as the reimbursement subject matter expert for local field teams.
  • Collaborate with sales, managed care, marketing, medical science, and patient engagement stakeholders.
  • Manage territory logistics, routing, account planning, and market access insights.
  • Support pharmacy and medical benefit pathways, including buy-and-bill, prior authorization, appeals, hub services, and specialty distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
  • Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, revenue cycle, and appeals.
  • Experience with patient support hub services and the ability to influence across a matrix organization.
  • Permanent residence in the listed Colorado territory, a valid US driver’s license, and a compliant driving record are required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.

Nice to have

  • Oncology disease-state experience.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payer initiatives, and pharmaceutical reimbursement.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in applying emerging technologies such as AI.
