TL;DR
Executive Oncology Sales Representative – Head & Neck (Oncology): Selling oncology therapeutics across assigned hospital and customer accounts in the Sacramento–Portland territory with an accent on clinical product knowledge, account strategy, reimbursement access, and compliant customer engagement. Focus on developing territory plans, penetrating complex accounts, supporting oncology customers, and achieving sales objectives through pharmaceutical sales.

Location: Field-based role supporting the Sacramento–Portland territory; candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it. Travel, including overnight and weekend travel, is required.

Salary: $111,000–$185,500 annual base pay, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and assigned accounts.
  • Communicate clinical efficacy, product value propositions, and approved clinical information to customers.
  • Analyze business opportunities, prospect for new accounts, and develop territory and account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners.
  • Prepare customer-specific pre-call and post-call plans using approved materials and marketing tools.
  • Build relationships with hospitals and complex accounts, address access and reimbursement topics, and improve sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate sales, close orders, and achieve assigned sales objectives compliantly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Residence in the assigned geography or willingness to relocate to it.
  • Ability to support oncology customers and work with complex accounts and reimbursement considerations.

Nice to have

  • Specialty sales experience and knowledge of solid tumor and oncology markets.
  • Hospital and large-account sales experience.
  • Experience with complex reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D.
  • Documented successful sales performance in a competitive environment.
  • Interest in learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
