Salary: $99,000–$185,500 annually

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics and execute territory sales strategies.
  • Provide clinical product information and support while achieving sales quotas and targets.
  • Analyze the territory, prospect for new business, identify key accounts and healthcare professionals, and develop account strategies with the District Manager.
  • Build customer relationships, identify decision-makers, and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials.
  • Assess healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement, managed care organizations, specialty pharmacies, patient mix, and treatment protocols within assigned accounts.
  • Complete required training, sales meetings, compliance activities, expense reporting, call reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Oncology specialty sales experience and/or major hospital account sales experience.
  • At least two years of direct pharmaceutical, biologic, or biotech sales experience with documented success, or relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience with hospital and large-account sales, complex reimbursement, and managed care dynamics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and weekends.
  • Strong relationship-building, decision-maker identification, achievement motivation, and virtual customer engagement skills.

Nice to have

  • Solid tumor or rare disease specialty sales experience and knowledge of the oncology market.
  • Product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
