Consumer and Business Banking Senior Relationship Banker (Fintech)

Location: Boston, United States; branch-based work with possible support for nearby branches. Applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Annual base pay: $54,375–$90,000 USD.

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value consumer and small business clients.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers through proactive outreach and early engagement calls.
• Assess customer needs and recommend consumer banking, business banking, lending, and other financial products.
• Generate cross-sales opportunities and collaborate with product partners through joint client calls.
• Deliver personalized service in the branch, by phone, and through digital channels while resolving customer issues.
• Support branch goals and maintain compliance with regulatory, risk, and fraud-prevention requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience selling products or services in an incentive-based environment, or 2 years of financial services experience acquiring and developing client relationships.
• At least 12 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of consumer and small business banking products, lending, sales, cross-selling, and client portfolio management.
• Excellent communication, consultative, influence, critical-thinking, and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings, and authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Established work history or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
