Branch Manager (Retail Banking)

Location: Westborough, Massachusetts, United States of America; onsite branch role

Salary: $68,400–$114,000 annual USD

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, annual goals, customer experience, employee experience, operations, servicing, digital engagement, and sales.
• Lead, coach, develop, evaluate, and staff branch employees while maintaining accountability for performance and service quality.
• Grow Retail and Business Banking relationships through proactive prospecting, outside calling, networking, and community partnerships.
• Identify customer needs and provide short- and long-term banking solutions, including independently processing Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000.
• Resolve complex account servicing and customer issues, including escalations, while partnering across the bank to deliver timely solutions.
• Maintain compliance, security, fraud prevention, operational risk, audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, time-management, prioritization, and customer-service coaching skills.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, and email; Business Banking Specialist qualification is required within 18 months of hire.

• Previous Branch Manager experience.
