Field Reimbursement Manager (Bone Health)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona; territory covers Arizona and Nevada. Candidates must live in the geography or within 10 miles of its border. Hybrid setup with customer appointments two days per week, one to two home-office days, and up to 40% travel by automobile or plane.

Salary: $145,470.70–$196,813.30 per year

What you will do

• Manage defined accounts and execute the territory strategy for Patient Access and Reimbursement within the Bone Health business.
• Support healthcare providers from physician order through reimbursement, including benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, claims resolution, and alternate funding programs.
• Review patient-specific information and resolve coverage challenges involving patient health information.
• Educate healthcare providers on commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid coverage, formulary requirements, utilization management, and insurance procedures.
• Coordinate access and reimbursement issues with the HUB and other cross-functional partners.
• Serve as a payer expert for the assigned geography and communicate payer changes to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree; or a master's degree plus 3 years of customer service or leadership experience; or a bachelor's degree plus 5 years; or an associate's degree plus 10 years; or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years.
• Experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• At least 2 years of experience in public or private third-party access, managed care, clinical support, sales, or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Medical reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, Buy & Bill, hubs, billing, coding, appeals, and commercial payer, Medicare, and Medicaid experience.
• Presentation, facilitation, communication, organization, project management, computer literacy, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and residence in the assigned geography or within 10 miles of its border.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
• Six years of experience with specialty, biologic self-injectable, pharmacy-benefit, or physician-administered products.
• Advanced knowledge of medical insurance terminology and CMS policies, including Medicare Part B and Part D.
• Experience managing ambiguity and expenses within allocated budgets.
