Field Reimbursement Manager (Neuroscience)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; territory includes Seattle, Tacoma, Coeur d'Alene, and Anchorage. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required. Field-based work includes up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 per year

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
• Serve as the field-based reimbursement and patient access expert for neuroscience therapies.
• Resolve access, affordability, fulfillment, prior authorization, billing, and appeals challenges.
• Analyze account and payer data to identify barriers and develop timely solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, managed care, medical, marketing, compliance, and PECS stakeholders.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, account planning, customer relationships, and compliant field support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, revenue cycle, or provider-office operations.
• Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
• Experience with patient support hub services and building relationships with healthcare providers.
• Ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data, solve access problems, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Valid US driver’s license and permanent residence in the listed US territory are required.

Nice to have

• Neuroscience disease-state experience.
• Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policies.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
