Location: Permanent residence required in the listed U.S. territory: San Diego, Las Vegas, San Bernardino, or Riverside; field-based work with up to 75% travel and up to 50% of time on site with healthcare providers.

Base pay: $102,000–$177,100 per year.

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
  • Provide field-based reimbursement, access, fulfillment, and affordability support for neuroscience therapies.
  • Analyze account data and payer policies to identify and resolve patient access barriers.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal departments across a matrix organization.
  • Build customer relationships, manage territory routing and account planning, and maintain knowledge of market and coverage dynamics.
  • Operate in accordance with legal, ethical, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
  • Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
  • Experience with patient support HUB services and the ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, relationship-building, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed territory required.

Nice to have

  • Neuroscience disease-state experience.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policies.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
