MRF Heavy Eqp Operator

Location: Corpus Christi, TX, USA; onsite work at a recycling center

What you will do

• Operate forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transfer, spread, cover, load, and compact waste or soil at the recycling center.
• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and continuously monitor equipment condition.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials and clean equipment tracks or wheels as needed.
• Perform and document minor equipment servicing, complete condition reports, and report repairs to the supervisor or maintenance shop.
• Follow safety procedures and leave the shop clean, serviced, and properly stored at the end of each shift.

Requirements

• Two years of related heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• One year of experience working at sites regulated by OSHA preferred.
• Good customer service, time management, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to follow company policies, safety standards, and assigned work schedules.
• Professional, courteous, cooperative, honest, and safety-conscious approach to work.
