Credit Manager - Emerging Middle Market (EMM)

Location: In Office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, US 90071

Salary: $141,830–$263,408 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Underwrite and manage portfolios for Emerging Middle Market clients, typically privately held companies with annual revenues from $50 million to $2 billion.
• Formulate and recommend credit and banking solutions for working capital, capital expenditures, commercial real estate financing, growth, and strategic business needs.
• Lead credit adjudication and oversee credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio performance, risk appetite, and credit quality within an assigned industry, region, or credit line.
• Manage team workflows, review work products, handle escalations and complex transactions, and present credit matters to the Credit Review Committee.
• Implement credit policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
• Train, coach, and develop Credit Solutions colleagues, manage performance, and build a strong talent pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in relevant industries.
• At least 5 years of management experience in underwriting or credit management.
• Extensive credit management and lending operations experience with a strong understanding of risk management principles.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, and business development skills.
• Industry-specific knowledge and expertise.
