What you will do

• Underwrite new lease and loan requests, material modifications, and complex transactions from submission through approval and funding.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, trends, collateral coverage, customer exposure, and key credit risks.
• Prepare credit presentations, complete financial statement spreads and debt service overlays, and coordinate appraisals, references, reports, and additional investigations.
• Review funding conditions, authorize and track transaction commencement and funding, and obtain approvals for transaction changes.
• Support portfolio administration by providing approved presentations, monitoring covenant compliance, identifying material adverse changes, and uploading financial statements.
• Prepare regulatory and portfolio reports, maintain vendor and broker files, and provide guidance and training to credit department members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of commercial credit, leasing, public accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, or related financial analysis experience; alternatively, 9 years of combined higher education and work experience including 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in credit policies and procedures, with experience influencing lending decisions.
• Strong analytical, research, decision-making, organizational, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers, word-processing and spreadsheet tools, and industry-specific software.
• Ability to work independently, maintain attention to detail, and travel for time-sensitive portfolio reviews.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant commercial credit, leasing, public accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, or related financial analysis experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equipment leasing.
