Business Systems Analyst (AI)

Location: Onsite in Hawthorne, California; not a remote or hybrid position. Relocation is required if not already local. Travel to other SpaceX and SpaceXAI locations may be required.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 annually for Level 1; $100,000–$135,000 annually for Level 2.

What you will do

• Integrate data from multiple sources using SQL to improve accessibility and reporting.
• Build and maintain dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Analyze complex datasets and interpret operational and business trends.
• Define metrics and dashboard interfaces that communicate data insights to stakeholders.
• Implement data management, validation, quality, and consolidation practices.
• Collaborate with Launch, Production, Recruiting, Security, Finance, HR, and Environmental Health & Safety teams to understand business processes and data flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience developing custom SQL queries.
• At least 1 year of experience building dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional requirements.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with urgency.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States under ITAR requirements, or be eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, computer science, or engineering.
• Experience using AI tools.
• Experience with HR, compliance, or business operations.
