Equipment Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Lewiston, Idaho, United States; onsite position

Salary: $34.81–$48.60 per hour for Equipment Maintenance Technician I

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues identified during preventive maintenance and reactive service calls.
• Complete maintenance tasks under the guidance of supervisors and senior technicians.
• Enter and maintain accurate records in the equipment maintenance database.
• Apply company operating principles and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technologies.
• Experience maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics and modern test equipment.
• Expertise in Excel, Word, and Access, plus strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results required.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment, including microprocessor circuits, vision systems, and robotics.
• Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and cable assembly processes.
