Maintenance Technician III (Manufacturing)

Location: Rockrimmon, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; 2nd shift, on-site

Salary: $28–31 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Perform Total Productive Maintenance and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor and maintain facility systems, including HVAC, air compressors, air dryers, pumps, water systems, and security equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and servo systems on injection molding presses.
• Install automation equipment and support continuous improvement projects, including robotics, sensors, HMIs, and end-of-arm tooling.
• Track repair history, machine downtime, parts inventory, calibrations, and maintenance metrics in SAP and related systems.
• Create equipment procedures and SOPs, coordinate complex repairs with vendors or contractors, and respond to safety, quality, and 6S findings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–8 years of maintenance and facilities experience or completion of a related trade school program.
• Experience with injection molding presses, including AC/DC electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motors, sensors, and HMI interfaces.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems; ability to read electrical, water, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Ability to write and implement equipment procedures, use measuring devices and tools, and enter maintenance data accurately.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, collaborate across departments, use ladders and lifts, and obtain forklift certification if required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of robot programming, sensors, pneumatics, and end-of-arm tooling.
• Experience with fabrication tools such as drill presses, grinders, taps and dies, and band saws.
