Maintenance Technician, Support Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Flowery Branch, Georgia, United States; onsite day shift, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $32.00 per hour, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive equal to 5% of base pay.

What you will do

• Execute preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facilities in compliance with ISO 9001 QMS requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair process machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical apparatus, motors, transformers, gearboxes, robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Install power supply wiring, conduit, and newly installed plant equipment.
• Lead daily activities for the maintenance crew, provide direction, and train other maintenance personnel.
• Inspect equipment and completed work, maintain cleanliness, and participate in safety inspections and safety committee activities.
• Collaborate with operations, EHS, plant leadership, and internal and external stakeholders to resolve equipment failures and improve processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong electrical skills and experience locating and installing plant equipment.
• Ability to lead people and projects through completion.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment using diagrams and blueprints.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools and to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Required PPE: steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
