Senior Electronics Machine Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for industrial controls, automation systems, robotics, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, robotic, automated, and manufacturing equipment to the component level.
• Perform root cause failure analysis and implement solutions that improve reliability and prevent recurring failures.
• Install, commission, optimize, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including robotic and CNC systems.
• Lead equipment improvement and integration projects, including documentation, cost analysis, and implementation.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and collaborate with production, engineering, suppliers, and contractors.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology, electronics, industrial automation, mechatronics, equivalent military training, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of electronics, controls, automation, or maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, electronic, robotic, and automated equipment.
• Experience supporting robotic manufacturing equipment and highly automated production systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, and applicable electrical and machinery safety standards.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical guidance.

Nice to have

• 15+ years as a senior technical resource in industrial automation, controls, robotics, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience with FANUC, Epson, Stäubli, or Universal Robots platforms.
• Experience with PLC programming, machine vision, industrial networking, machine communications, or CNC integration.
• Experience leading automation upgrades, equipment integrations, reliability improvements, or capital projects.
