Export Team Leader

What you will do

• Lead, supervise, and support the export operations team.
• Manage end-to-end export shipments, including bookings, cargo coordination, customs clearance, and departures.
• Coordinate with carriers, transporters, customs brokers, overseas agents, customers, sales, and account management teams.
• Monitor schedules, cut-off times, shipment tracking, delivery requirements, delays, and operational exceptions.
• Review freight charges, vendor invoices, shipment records, operational reports, KPIs, and performance summaries.
• Handle escalations, improve service quality and cost efficiency, and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

• Experience supervising export operations and coordinating international shipments.
• Knowledge of export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates, and customs documents.
• Ability to work with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, overseas agents, and customers.
• Ability to monitor operational performance, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely system updates.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop team members on export procedures, systems, documentation, and customer service.
