What you will do

• Plan, organize, direct, and staff daily pickup and delivery operations.
• Coach drivers on effective work practices, safety, compliance, training, and injury reporting.
• Resolve complex customer service issues and maintain delivery commitments.
• Adjust routes and employee schedules and develop contingency plans for unexpected situations.
• Lead the team through changing business requirements and new technology while achieving service and productivity KPIs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of management experience within the last five years, or completion of the AiM internal development program.
• Knowledge of field operations, service features, systems, policies, and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal, time-management, organizational, and communication skills, plus basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver heavier packages with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to meet applicable motor-carrier safety qualifications and complete required medical examinations.
