IT Associate Director, PMO and Quality Assurance (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Ewing, New Jersey, with in-person attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote work is available on Mondays and Fridays. The role requires 20% domestic and international travel.

Base salary: $147,300–$209,700 annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the enterprise IT delivery operating model, portfolio governance, funding and capacity oversight, delivery tooling, performance metrics, and executive reporting.
• Provide program management office services for CEO- and executive leadership team-sponsored initiatives, including Corporate Strategic Deliverables, dependency management, risk tracking, and escalation.
• Lead the transition from milestone-based project delivery to product-oriented, incremental delivery using agile practices, flow metrics, automation, and persistent ownership.
• Set the direction for quality engineering, risk-based validation, automated testing, release automation, continuous compliance evidence, and AI-assisted quality practices.
• Represent IT Quality in audits, inspections, governance forums, and compliance initiatives covering GxP, validation, data integrity, SOX, privacy, and related controls.
• Lead PMO and QA employees, contractors, consultants, and vendors while building capabilities in portfolio governance, product delivery, quality engineering, validation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT project, program, portfolio, quality assurance, compliance governance, or solution delivery experience across multiple functional areas.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, consultants, vendors, or cross-functional resources.
• Experience with enterprise PMO and IT QA governance, resource and budget oversight, vendor management, validation, data integrity, quality risk, and regulated environments.
• Experience leading an enterprise-scale agile or product operating model transformation and supporting C-suite or executive-committee-sponsored initiatives.
• Working familiarity with portfolio management platforms, workflow automation, CI/CD, automated testing, regression management, compliance evidence, analytics dashboards, and AI-assisted delivery tooling.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Consumer packaged goods experience and experience with GxP, FDA, SOX, or other regulated environments.
• Project, Program, Agile, Quality, or Validation certification.
