Production Supervisor (Food Ingredients)

Location: New Century, Kansas, USA; onsite manufacturing plant role with regular production-floor presence

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annual base salary, depending on experience and other hiring factors.

What you will do

• Lead daily finishing operations across Spray A, Spray B, Spray C, Tube Chill, Blending, and related production areas.
• Coordinate production activities with Supply Chain, Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Utilities, Facilities, and EHS teams.
• Drive safety, food safety, GMP, quality, delivery, productivity, and operational excellence objectives.
• Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and optimize process efficiency and reliability.
• Lead onboarding, training, certification, coaching, and performance management for production employees.
• Support continuous improvement, waste reduction, 5S, and compliance with ISO, BRC Food Safety, RSPO, SMETA, PSM, and MOC requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least five years of manufacturing or production experience in a continuous-process environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, food safety, quality, and environmental systems.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, plus the ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing plant, remain regularly present on the production floor, and wear required PPE.

• Experience in food, ingredients, chemical, biotechnology, or related manufacturing industries.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
