Manager I, Operations Management (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; second shift; relocation eligible

Salary: $60,000–$82,500 per year

What you will do

• Supervise second-shift employees across assembly, inspection, testing, and related production operations.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle-time performance.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer, vendor, and supplier requirements.
• Optimize production capacity and implement processes for collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing data.
• Drive Lean, safety, quality, process improvement, and corrective-action initiatives.

Requirements

• Understanding of procedures and concepts within the relevant job family, with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to manage employee training, development, performance, hiring, rewards, and discipline processes.
• Compliance with hirify.global' Standards of Business Conduct and all applicable safety and Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
• Availability for approximately 10% travel.
