Full Stack Software Engineer II (Aerospace)

Salary: $130,000–$196,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build applications supporting design and manufacturing engineers across the company.
• Automate analysis of telemetry data from test stands.
• Develop tools for supply chain management, production planning, and manufacturing operations.
• Create responsive front-ends, scalable back-ends, and data pipelines connecting engineering systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements discovery through design, testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Work directly with engineers and factory-floor operators to understand workflows and improve software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field such as Computer, Software, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, systems, and clean, testable code.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, including internships, co-ops, or substantial shipped academic or personal projects.
• Experience building web applications with modern frameworks and languages.
• Comfort working across front-end, back-end, and data layers.
• Ability to work directly with engineers and operators on the factory floor in Long Beach, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools and large datasets.
• Experience with manufacturing, hardware, test and measurement systems, or other physical-world domains.
• Experience building dashboards, data visualizations, or analytics tools.
• Open-source contributions or experience shipping software products end-to-end.
