Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Virginia/Northern Virginia, US; mostly remote with the ability to reach the Herndon, VA office when needed. The role supports work across Eastern and Central US time zones.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build Python-heavy backend and data systems for AI-powered products.
• Develop workflows using multimodal data and machine-learning tooling.
• Contribute across backend, data, AI, and frontend engineering.
• Ship complete product features using React or Vue where needed.
• Deploy software across cloud, classified, air-gapped, and disconnected environments.
• Own features from ambiguous problems through production and help shape the engineering culture.

Requirements

• Strong Python and backend engineering experience.
• Experience with data engineering and AI or ML tooling.
• Enough React, Vue, or comparable frontend experience to ship complete products.
• Ability to take ownership, make decisions, and work across technical boundaries.
• Ability to work in Virginia/Northern Virginia and reach the Herndon office when needed.
