Full Stack Engineer (Palantir)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; EST hours required. U.S. citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications for modernizing critical mission systems.
• Analyze legacy systems, operational workflows, business rules, and manual processes to identify essential functionality.
• Translate operational requirements into scalable application designs on the Palantir modernization platform.
• Develop Java backend services, RESTful APIs, and integration layers connecting legacy environments with modern platforms.
• Build and enhance user-facing components with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Support the full SDLC, troubleshoot across application and data layers, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on full stack software development experience in complex or enterprise environments.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience, including RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, relational databases, and data access patterns.
• Ability to analyze and simplify complex systems, troubleshoot across multiple application layers, work in ambiguous environments, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with legacy system modernization or transformation.
• Experience supporting federal or mission-driven environments.
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms and large-scale system integrations.
• Experience deriving requirements from real-world usage rather than formal documentation.
