What you will do
- Lead program cost, schedule, and technical performance with responsibility for end-to-end program execution.
- Establish and maintain control account plans, budgets, schedules, and performance baselines.
- Monitor earned value metrics, forecast costs and schedules, and prepare variance reports with root-cause analysis.
- Lead stakeholder status reviews and communicate financial health, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with technical, scheduling, risk, finance, supply chain, and operations stakeholders to align program execution.
- Coach and mentor junior team members on earned value management principles and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
- 8+ years of related experience and significant program management responsibility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of program planning, execution, resource management, budgets, schedules, and technical objectives.
- Advanced analytical skills for interpreting complex financial and performance data, including earned value metrics and KPI reporting.
- Ability to lead management reviews, interface with financial teams, manage programs with limited oversight, and develop corrective actions.
- Ability to mentor junior managers and lead complex program strategies.
Nice to have
- Senior-level project management certification such as PfMP.
- Experience with Agile, Lean Six Sigma, contract management, risk mitigation, systems engineering, or software development lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience managing multiple projects, conducting root-cause analysis, and preparing technical documentation.
