Lead Program Manager - Space Electronics

Location: Albuquerque, NM, United States; office environment required

Salary: $101,000–$154,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the management of a flight computer product line supporting satellite electronics programs across GEO, MEO, LEO, and cislunar orbits.
• Work with customers on product forecasts and demand, and lead proposal development and pricing stability.
• Support contract negotiations involving cost, schedule, and risk posture.
• Coordinate with materials management and supply chain teams to maintain electronic-component inventory and supplier commitments.
• Develop integrated master schedules, manage product risks, resources, budgets, and performance commitments.
• Report program status, clarify team accountability, coordinate configuration management, and facilitate resolution of program issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience as a project or program manager in aerospace or a technical field.
• Thorough knowledge of project management practices and the project lifecycle from requirements definition through completion.
• Ability to lead activities and resources across the organization, define schedule metrics, and communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship or other eligibility as a U.S. person under ITAR/EAR requirements is required.

• Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant project or program management experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
