TL;DR
Control Account Manager (CAM)-Program Manager (Aerospace): Leading programs and control accounts valued below $50M, with an accent on earned value management, financial planning, cost and schedule control, and contractual compliance. Focus on analyzing performance variances, forecasting costs and schedules, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating technical, scheduling, risk, finance, and operations stakeholders.

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States. This is a full-time onsite role and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary: $128,084–$176,115.50 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead a program, integrated product team, or portfolio valued below $50M, owning cost, schedule, technical performance, and contractual execution.
  • Establish and maintain control account plans, program schedules, budgets, and performance baselines.
  • Monitor earned value metrics, prepare variance reports, identify root causes, and forecast costs and schedules.
  • Implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with accounting standards, contract requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, technical leads, scheduling and risk leads, finance, supply chain, operations, and other control account managers.
  • Lead stakeholder status reviews, communicate financial and program health, and mentor junior team members on earned value management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, equivalent work experience, or a master’s degree with three years of experience.
  • Typically five or more years of related experience and a proven record of successful program management execution.
  • Completed or in-progress PMP or equivalent certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of EVMS, CAM, BOE, FAR, and CAS, along with program management lifecycle and resource planning.
  • Proficiency in financial and performance metrics analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

  • Agile project management, risk management, Lean Six Sigma, contract management, or negotiation experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, systems engineering, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, teamwork, and technical writing skills.
