Onboarding Specialist (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process from offer acceptance through the first week.
• Coordinate background checks, I-9 verification, HR system setup, and equipment logistics.
• Provide a white-glove, personalized onboarding experience for executive-level hires.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, IT, and management to ensure seamless new hire integration.
• Identify and track immigration and visa needs for incoming employees.
• Continuously improve onboarding checklists and workflows to scale with company growth.

Requirements

• Proven ability to manage complex HR onboarding operations and sensitive employee data.
• Strong proactive coordination skills to manage multiple starts and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience with I-9 verification, background checks, and HR system administration.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on warmth and employee experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Recruiting, and office teams.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco.
