Senior XBRL Financial Consultant (XBRL)

Location: Remote U.S. team; Denver, Colorado, USA

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 annually, depending on experience, expertise, and location.

Provides SaaS solutions for regulatory disclosure, compliant content creation, financial reporting, and multi-stakeholder collaboration for financial, legal, health, and capital markets organizations.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation, review, validation, and submission of complex XBRL filings and SEC disclosures, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Advise public company clients on SEC regulations, XBRL taxonomies, reporting practices, and financial disclosure compliance.
• Manage multiple client engagements, filing deadlines, and project deliverables while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Review filings with validation tools, resolve compliance issues, and communicate recommendations and findings to clients.
• Conduct client onboarding, software demonstrations, and training for XBRL reporting and the Bridge platform.
• Mentor consultants and associates and collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Care, and Consulting teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of external financial reporting experience with SEC reporting companies.
• Direct experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting SEC filings, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Strong knowledge of XBRL reporting, financial statement tagging, taxonomy concepts, validation processes, U.S. GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
• Client-facing consulting experience with strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work remotely as part of the U.S. team.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience, especially in audit or assurance.
• Experience with Bridge, Workiva, ActiveDisclosure, or similar financial reporting platforms.
