Workday Financials Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA, with additional locations in Cincinnati, Columbus, Minneapolis, and Salt Lake City; work includes local or out-of-state travel to hirify.global offices and client sites.

Salary: $117,000–$187,000 per year; estimated total cash range of $131,040–$209,440 including the bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead complex Workday Financials implementations and manage project work plans, budgets, timelines, and delivery quality.
• Lead future-state design and process improvement initiatives for Record to Report and Order to Cash functions.
• Define requirements, facilitate design workshops, coordinate testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Design Workday Financials configurations including FDM, workflows and business processes, account structures, and system integrations.
• Conduct gap analyses, application control reviews, and risk assessments for Workday and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop client relationships, support proposals and business development, and mentor consultants and senior consultants.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in professional services or industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading or managing Workday Financials implementations, especially for R2R and/or O2C functions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, segregation of duties, access security, and compliance.
• Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, and work review.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Visio and Access is useful.

Nice to have

• Workday Financials certification.
• Certifications or experience with Workday Accounting Center, Adaptive, or Prism.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance assessments.
