Technical Consultant (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the United States; New York, NY and San Francisco, CA offices. Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF is available if needed.

Salary: $138,400–$190,300 SF/NY OTE or $124,560–$171,270 nationwide OTE, plus equity.

What you will do

• Advise customers and internal teams on high-value implementations, integrations, configuration, and system design.
• Assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations.
• Support technical workstreams with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to accelerate time-to-value.
• Lead technical discovery, understand customer systems and workflows, and recommend best-fit Ramp architecture and API usage.
• Resolve integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions without writing code directly.
• Contribute to documentation, tooling, and product roadmap improvements by channeling customer feedback to Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle Fusion, plus finance and accounting workflows.
• Comfort with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture, including explaining technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, collaboration, ownership, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
