Semiconductor Maintenance Technician (Diffusion Quartz & PM Machinist)

Location: Chandler, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Requires working a compressed shift on the Days 2 schedule.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance for the CHD FAB Diffusion maintenance team.
• Complete tube and boat changes, quartz ware cleaning and rebuilding, and inventory management.
• Maintain diffusion furnaces, wafer-mark laser equipment, leak detectors, and supporting metrology equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, documentation, and related fab support activities.
• Interface with internal and external groups and train others on related tasks when required.

Requirements

• Associate-level education or progress in electronics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; relevant experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
• Understanding of 5S and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently for extended periods while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and complete required documentation.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, work in confined spaces, and lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in Chandler on the compressed Days 2 schedule.

• Experience with EPI equipment.
