NPC Engineering Technician III (T3) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical subsystems.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and engineering or manufacturing documentation.
• Perform rework, help determine remedies for malfunctions, and generate quality notifications.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures and assist with department procedures and process improvements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in a range of analytical processes and procedures for assigned technical tasks.
• Working knowledge of how engineering and manufacturing teams integrate to achieve objectives.
• Ability to troubleshoot atypical or infrequently occurring problems using established procedures and precedents.
• Effective communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to follow safety, security, operating, and personal protective equipment requirements.
