CW- Engineering Technician III (T3) 1st Shift (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $25.00–$34.70 per hour

What you will do

• Perform design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, components, prototypes, tools, and specialized test equipment.
• Perform new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Prepare logbooks and test procedure documentation from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve routine problems using established procedures and technical methods.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with significant noise.
• Ability to use required cleanroom personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
