Engineer Technician II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and technical documentation; compile logbooks and test procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, secure, and healthy work environment, including clean-room requirements.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to varied technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially high noise levels.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas; relocation is not provided.
