Engineering Technician II (T2) 2nd Shift (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.50–$29.20

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, troubleshooting, fabrication, modification, assembly, and checkout of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system- and component-level problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and technical instructions.
• Maintain logbooks and test procedure documentation while following safety and security requirements.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures and technical methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially high noise levels.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while using required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, gloves, respirators, and face shields.
