Location: San Mateo, California, United States. Office-based roles require onsite attendance Tuesday through Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Salary: $186,620–$228,550 USD base pay per year, plus potential equity compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Craft clear, compelling copy about Roblox products, innovations, AI, safety, the creator community, and users.
• Develop content for press, user, and creator audiences.
• Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, executives, product leads, and other stakeholders to align messaging and strategy.
• Clarify ambiguous requirements and deliverables with cross-functional partners.
• Manage multiple assignments through approval cycles and deadlines.
• Report to the Senior Manager, Editorial.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional writing experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
• Experience in communications, public relations, speechwriting, or journalism.
• Writing samples demonstrating clear, compelling consumer-focused content across multiple topics.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing feedback, and aligning stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver clean copy.
