Senior Content Strategist (Gaming)

Location: Long Island City, NY; full-time, on-site. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with extended hours during peak seasons, launches, and operational transitions.

Base salary: $110,000–$150,000 per annum.

hirify.global is a gaming and trading card community business operating an online experience and a Long Island City store with tournaments, events, and gatherings.

What you will do

• Own organic content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels, defining content pillars, brand voice, and channel playbooks.
• Build a scalable organic content engine focused on viral and trend-driven content.
• Architect email and lifecycle marketing across platforms such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp, including segmentation, automation flows, and campaign calendars.
• Design content production workflows using AI-assisted tools and direct the Marketing Coordinator and future hires.
• Manage and grow the Discord community while connecting content and email performance to audience growth and revenue.
• Partner with leadership on creator partnerships, product drops, retail launches, and in-store event storytelling.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in content marketing, social strategy, or brand content.
• Direct experience building an organic content program and its strategy, systems, and workflows from the ground up.
• Experience developing viral and trending content strategies across social platforms.
• Experience managing or mentoring content producers or coordinators.
• Deep fluency in the mechanics and algorithms of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Strategic experience with email/lifecycle marketing platforms and AI tools for content strategy and implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience in collectibles, gaming, or creator partnerships.
• Familiarity with trading card game culture.
