What you will do

• Drive technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future process technologies.
• Develop process integration and equipment solutions through feasibility studies, material selection, parameter optimization, and metrology.
• Lead the design and development of advanced dry etch manufacturing processes for new product architectures.
• Lead pathfinding activities and contribute to technology roadmaps for next-generation manufacturing technologies.
• Identify and implement equipment and process improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency, production output, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders on process optimization and implementation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering, materials science, or a related STEM field, plus 6+ years of semiconductor industry experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus 9+ years of experience.
• Primary experience in dry etch process development.
• 3+ years of experience collaborating with equipment suppliers such as Lam Research, TEL, Applied Materials, or Hitachi.
• Experience with process development, manufacturing engineering, and technical leadership.
• Experience with statistical process control, design of experiments, and factory automation systems.
• Regular onsite presence in Albuquerque, New Mexico is required.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. with research publications or patents focused on dry etch technologies.
• 5+ years of TSV etch process development experience.
• Experience supporting semiconductor fab startups across manufacturing, quality, R&D, and supply chain functions.
• Experience in a semiconductor foundry environment and delivering customized solutions across technology development and high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and experience managing diverse stakeholder groups.
