Production Shift Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Shawano, Wisconsin, United States; onsite third-shift manufacturing role

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, train, and evaluate production employees.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, staffing, workflow, and resource allocation.
• Drive productivity, quality, waste reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments to resolve production challenges.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, environmental, quality, and safety management systems.
• Promote safe work practices, accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, industrial, foundry, metal processing, or related production experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong prioritization, delegation, follow-up, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and shifts while balancing production, safety, and quality priorities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, metallurgy, engineering technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt experience or certification.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
